I have gone through numerous columns by numerous writers pleading for change, unfortunately only a few of them have suggested any changes that can help the WWF in resurrecting its present position. This column is not going to talk of the WWF getting stale, but it is about how the WWF can get over this staleness. My basic aim is to point out a few mantras that may help the WWF in its revival. I must make it clear that these suggestions are based on my personal opinion and the readers may or may not agree with them. Anyhow, I would not waste any further time and will straightaway come to the point.

The first and foremost thing that the WWF really needs to do is to bring in some new faces who are talented and have what it requires to be a superstar in the WWF. These new faces must possess the magnetism and the charisma to attract more and more fans.

Unfortunately, at the moment, the WWF lacks stars who possess these qualities. This was surely not the case throughout the 80s and the first half of the 90s. This period saw men like Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Ultimate Warrior, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, etc., who could attract fans with sheer charisma and flair. Also the WWF needs to make its shows more colorful and lively. I feel the shows at the moment are too intense and to a great extent, even dull.

I am sure this decline has a lot to do with the decline in values as a result of which many fans turn their backs on the WWF. I think they also need to concentrate more on the wrestling part than on the gimmicks.

I think the revival of the Survivor Series will do a world of good to the sinking interest of the fans.
